Google gives each day’s share of all YouTube searches in India, not a count, scaled so the busiest day asked about is 100. Daily figures come nine months at a time, so each year is two windows, January to July and June to December, joined on their overlap. Every day is then divided by the year’s median day, an ordinary day, so each year is measured against itself and the growth of YouTube in India cancels out. Google rounds low values to whole numbers, so small differences are not meaningful.
